Spring into Health


April is our Health and Wellness Challenge month at Sport Haley Corporate. During the month of April we are focusing on our health by tracking our progress based on a 4-week schedule.

The areas of focus are as follows:
  • Sleeping 7 hours a day
  • Drinking enough H2O
  • Exercise - which includes stretching
  • Eating throughout the day - healthy choices
  • Motivating others
  • Taking a break

Throughout the month we will be checking in with some of our employees to see how they are feeling, what goals they have accomplished, and any motivational tips for a healthy living.


To start things off we will focus on drinking more h2o!


To make sure we drink enough water we decided to spice things up a bit by providing infused water recipes. We start this week with a cucumber lemon infusion. Not only does the lemon/cucumber infusion make water more enjoyable but it also aids in weight loss and gives the body natural electrolytes. It’s also a great source of Vitamin C and antioxidants which help maintain energy. Calculating how much water you should drink is based on the following

Your weight X 2/3 (or 67%) = how many ounces of water a day
*Please adjust based on activity level, add 12 ounces for every 30 minutes you work out in that day

Tips for reaching your daily goal:
  • Drink 2 cups before every meal
  • Drink 1 cup in the morning and at night
  • Keep track by your container
  • Infuse with Flavor
  • Add bubbles – adding sparkling water makes the day more fun and your mouth happy!
